Ingredients

  • 1 lime wedge, for garnish
  • 1 pinch celery salt, coarse salt, or Tajín, for garnish
  • 6 oz. tomato juice or Clamato
  • 1/3 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon Tabasco or preferred hot sauce
  • 12 oz. light lager beer
  • 5 handfuls (or more) ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Rub the rim of a tall glass with the lime wedge, then coat the rim with celery salt or coarse salt.
  2. In a bowl or measuring cup, combine the tomato juice, lime juice, celery salt, Worcestershire, and Tabasco, and mix well.
  3. Add a handful of ice to the prepared glass.
  4. Pour the tomato juice mixture into the glass, filling it with approximately 4 tablespoons of juice.
  5. Top up the glass with half a bottle of beer.
  6. Garnish with a lime wedge.
