Ingredients

  • 2 ounces Appleton Estate Rum
  • 3/4 ounce spiced simple syrup
  • 3/4 ounce grapefruit juice
  • 1/2 ounce lime juice

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a mixing tin.
  2. Add ice and shake vigorously until chilled.
  3. Strain the mixture over ice into a coupe glass.
  4. Garnish with a star anise.
