Ingredients

  • 1 small Clementine, halved and thinly sliced into half-rounds
  • 1/2 small Lemon, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 Cinnamon stick (3-inch)
  • 1/2 Star anise
  • 4 oz. Cabernet Sauvignon red wine
  • 1/8 cup Cranberry juice cocktail
  • 1/8 cup Pomegranate juice
  • 1/2 tbsp Orange-flavored liqueur such as Grand Marnier or Cointreau
  • 1/8 cup Unsweetened flavored seltzer, lemon lime flavor
  • 1/4 cup Pomegranate seeds

Instructions

  1. In a pitcher, combine the sliced clementines, lemon, cinnamon sticks, star anise, red wine, cranberry juice, pomegranate juice, and orange liqueur.
  2. Refrigerate the mixture for at least 4 hours or up to overnight.
  3. Just before serving, stir in the flavored seltzer.
  4. Serve the sangria over ice and garnish with pomegranate seeds.
