This winter white wine sangria is a refreshing and festive drink, filled with beautiful citrus slices and cranberries. It's the perfect cocktail for the holiday season, but you can easily swap the citrus for peach to bring the taste of summer to any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 orange
  • 1/4 blood orange (if in season)
  • 1/4 lime
  • 1/4 red grapefruit
  • 3 1/2 oz dry Spanish white wine such as Garnacha Blanca
  • 1 tbsp fresh orange juice, strained (no pulp)
  • 1 tbsp orange (or peach) liqueur (Cointreau or Patron recommended)
  • 1/2 cup club soda
  • 2 tbsp fresh cranberries or pomegranate arils, for garnish
  • fresh rosemary sprig, for garnish
  • ice

Instructions

  1. Slice the orange, blood orange, lime, and grapefruit crosswise into 1/4" slices and add to a pitcher or serving container.
  2. Pour the wine, orange juice, and orange liqueur over the fruit, then refrigerate until ready to serve.
  3. Stir in club soda and serve over ice.
  4. Garnish with cranberries and a sprig of rosemary.
