Ingredients

  • 2 oz Bourbon
  • 3/4 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 oz Simple Syrup
  • 1/2 oz Egg White
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. Measure 2 oz of bourbon and pour it into a cocktail shaker.
  2. Squeeze 3/4 oz of fresh lemon juice and add it to the shaker.
  3. Pour 1/2 oz of simple syrup into the shaker.
  4. Crack an egg and carefully separate the white from the yolk. Add 1/2 oz of the egg white to the shaker.
  5. Secure the top of the shaker and shake the ingredients vigorously for at least 10 seconds (dry shake).
  6. Add ice to the shaker and continue shaking for another 10 seconds to chill and slightly dilute the drink.
  7. Strain the cocktail into a coupe glass and add a creative garnish, such as heart-shaped bitters, for a delightful touch.
