Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 4 oz strong hot coffee
  • 1 1/2 oz Irish whiskey
  • 1/4 cup lightly whipped heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Add the sugar to a mug and pour in the hot coffee. Stir to dissolve the sugar.
  2. Add the Irish whiskey and stir gently.
  3. Lightly whip the heavy cream until it thickens to soft peaks. Optionally, sweeten the cream with a dash of sugar.
  4. Add a dollop of the whipped cream on top of the Irish coffee.
