Ingredients
- 1/2 cup flan mix
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 cinnamon stick
- lime zest
- 2 oz sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 cup rum
Instructions
- In a medium pot over medium heat, combine milk, flan mix, cinnamon stick, nutmeg, and lime zest. Stir constantly and cook until the mixture thickens, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let it sit for 10 minutes. Then, remove the cinnamon stick and refrigerate the mixture for 2 hours until set.
- Once chilled, blend the curdled flan mixture, sweetened condensed milk, and rum in a blender until well combined.
- Use a funnel to transfer the eggnog to a glass bottle, cover it, and refrigerate until ready to serve.
