Tropical Twist Whiskey Sour
A delightful tropical twist on the classic whiskey sour with a perfect blend of whiskey, orgeat syrup, pineapple juice, and passion fruit purée.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz Gentleman Jack whiskey
- 1 oz Orgeat Syrup
- 3/4 oz Lemon juice
- 3/4 oz Pineapple juice
- 1/2 oz Passion fruit purée
- 1/4 oz Amaro Montenegro
- 1/2 oz Egg white (optional)
- Garnish: Edible flower
- Garnish: Angostura bitters
Instructions
- Combine Gentleman Jack whiskey, orgeat syrup, lemon juice, pineapple juice, passion fruit purée, and Amaro Montenegro in a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Shake vigorously for 8 seconds.
- Remove the ice and re-shake the cocktail for another 8 seconds.
- Double-strain the mixture into a chilled coupe glass, allowing the head of the cocktail to settle for about 3 seconds.
- Using an atomizer, spray Angostura bitters over half of the cocktail.
- Garnish with an edible flower.
