Ingredients
- 2.40 oz evaporated milk (1/5 can)
- 1.40 oz sweetened condensed milk (1/10 can)
- 1.40 oz coconut milk (1/10 can)
- 1.50 oz sweetened cream of coconut
- 3 cinnamon sticks
- 1/2 vanilla bean (split lengthwise)
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup rum
- Toasted coconut (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine evaporated milk, condensed milk, coconut milk, and sweetened cream of coconut over low heat, whisking to combine.
- Add the cinnamon sticks, split vanilla bean, ground cinnamon, and nutmeg. Let the mixture barely simmer for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally until it thickens slightly.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool for at least 30 minutes. Remove and discard the cinnamon sticks and vanilla bean.
- Slowly whisk in the vanilla extract and rum. Pour the mixture into a pitcher, cover, and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours until cold.
- Serve in small glasses, garnished with a sprinkle of cinnamon, nutmeg, and toasted coconut.
