Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz dark rum
  • 3/4 oz Campari
  • 1 1/2 oz pineapple juice
  • 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup
  • Garnish: Pineapple wedge and leaves or a cocktail cherry

Instructions

  1. Combine the dark rum, Campari, pineapple juice, lime juice, and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker.
  2. Add ice to the shaker and shake until the mixture is frosty cold.
  3. Strain the cocktail into an Old Fashioned or rocks glass filled with ice. You can use either one large cube or crushed ice, but be aware that the drink will dilute quickly with crushed ice.
