A refreshing and unique twist on the classic Bloody Mary with tomatillos, green tomatoes, and a hint of heat from serrano chile.
Ingredients
- 1 tomatillo, husked, washed, and cored
- 1 medium green tomato
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 small cucumber
- 1 sprig each fresh cilantro and flat-leaf parsley
- 1/4 serrano chile, seeded
- Pinch of kosher salt
- 1.50 oz vodka
- 1 scallion, for garnish
- 1 lime wedge, for garnish
- Ice
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the tomatillo, green tomato, garlic, cucumber, cilantro, parsley, and serrano chile, then blend until smooth.
- Season the mixture with a pinch of kosher salt.
- Fill a glass with ice and pour in the tomatillo mixture and vodka.
- Garnish with scallion and lime wedge.
