Ingredients

  • 1.50 tomatillos
  • 1 medium green tomato
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/2 small cucumber
  • 1 sprig each fresh cilantro and flat-leaf parsley, plus extra sprigs for garnish
  • 1/4 serrano chile, seeded
  • Kosher salt, to taste
  • 1.50 oz. vodka
  • 1 whole scallion, for garnish
  • 1 lime wedge, for garnish
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine tomatillos, green tomato, garlic, cucumber, cilantro, parsley, and serrano chile; then blend until smooth.
  2. Season the mixture with kosher salt to taste.
  3. Fill a glass with ice.
  4. Pour the tomatillo mixture and vodka into the glass.
  5. Add herbs and scallion to the glass.
  6. Garnish the rim with a lime wedge.
