Ingredients

  • 3.50 oz milk chocolate
  • 2 teaspoons instant coffee granules
  • 3 tablespoons hot water
  • 10.60 oz evaporated milk (7.5% fat)
  • 7 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 14 oz half-and-half
  • 10.50 oz whiskey

Instructions

  1. Roughly chop or break the chocolate, then grate it for 10 seconds on level 9. Scrape it down with a spatula.
  2. Melt the chocolate by adding the instant coffee granules, hot water, and 5 tablespoons of evaporated milk. Heat to 122 degrees Fahrenheit for 3 minutes to melt the chocolate, ensuring the coffee is completely dissolved.
  3. Mix in the remaining evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, half-and-half, and whiskey. Start mixing slowly for about 30 seconds, increasing to level 3 but avoiding whipping the cream or making it curdle.
  4. Pour the mixture into sterilized bottles and refrigerate.
