Ingredients
- 1 cup milk of choice
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder (I like dark cocoa powder)
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar
- Pinch of fine sea salt
- 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon
- Pinch of cayenne pepper
- 1 oz tequila
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine milk, cocoa powder, sugar, salt, cinnamon, and cayenne pepper. Whisk to combine.
- Heat on low until the mixture comes to a gentle boil, stirring.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
- Add tequila and whisk again.
- Pour the hot chocolate into a mug.
- Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon or garnish with a cinnamon stick.
