My take on a Piña Colada with a Mexican twist, swapping rum for smooth Reposado tequila and adding creamy coconut gelato. The result is a super smooth and refreshing frozen cocktail with a delightful tropical flavor.

A smooth and refreshing frozen cocktail with a tropical twist, featuring Reposado tequila and creamy coconut gelato.
Ingredients
- 2 (2 oz.) scoops coconut gelato
- 1/2 cup frozen pineapple
- 2 oz. Gran Centenario Reposado Tequila
- 1 oz. pineapple juice
- 1 oz. fresh squeezed lime juice
- 1/2 cup ice
- 2 to 3 pieces candied pineapple (optional, for garnish)
- Flaky sea salt (optional)
Instructions
- Combine coconut gelato, frozen pineapple, tequila, pineapple juice, and lime juice in a blender and blend until smooth.
- Add ice and pulse until desired consistency is achieved.
- Pour the mixture into a chilled glass.
- Garnish with candied pineapple on a skewer and sprinkle with sea salt, if desired.
