Ingredients
- 1/4 vanilla bean
- 2.50 egg yolks (from pasteurized eggs recommended)
- 3 tablespoons superfine sugar
- 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
- 3 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 cup light rum
Instructions
- Scrape the seeds from the vanilla bean and discard the outer bean.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the egg yolks, vanilla seeds, and sugar on high speed for 10 minutes.
- Slowly add the cream and condensed milk, and beat for 7 minutes.
- Slowly add the rum, and beat for 3 minutes.
- Pour the egg liqueur into a decorative bottle or container, seal, and refrigerate for up to 3 weeks.
