Ingredients

  • 1/3 orange, chopped
  • 1/3 pear, chopped
  • 1/3 lemon, 1 chopped, juice of 1/3 lemon
  • 1/3 cup red berries (strawberries and cherries), chopped
  • 1 tablespoon caster sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ice
  • 5 oz light red wine
  • 1 oz Spanish brandy
  • 1/2 cup sparkling water

Instructions

  1. Place the chopped fruit in a bowl and sprinkle over the sugar and cinnamon, then stir to coat.
  2. Cover and leave the fruit to macerate in the fridge for at least 1 hour, or ideally overnight.
  3. Fill a large jug with ice.
  4. Stir the macerated fruit mixture to ensure the sugar is dissolved, then tip into the jug with the wine and brandy.
  5. Stir the mixture in the jug.
  6. Top up with the sparkling water.
  7. Serve and enjoy!
