Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 peppermint tea bag
  • 1 1/4 tbsp sugar
  • Fresh mint leaves
  • Lemon and lime slices
  • 1 oz Gin (optional)
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Boil 1 cup of water in a saucepan, then remove from heat and steep the peppermint tea bag for 5 minutes.
  2. Remove the tea bag and stir in the sugar, then refrigerate until chilled, preferably overnight.
  3. When ready to serve, add gin if desired, then pour the tea over ice in a serving glass.
  4. Garnish with fresh mint leaves, lemon, and lime slices before serving.
