Ingredients
- 1 large egg (separated)
- 1 tablespoon granulated allulose (or powdered erythritol)
- 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 to 1/2 ounce rum (or use cognac or bourbon - optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- Pinch of freshly grated nutmeg
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk the egg yolk and low carb sweetener until pale and creamy.
- Whisk in the almond milk, cream, vanilla, spices, and your chosen liquor (if using).
- Cover with cling film and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
- When ready to serve, whisk the egg white and 1 additional tablespoon allulose until fluffy peaks form.
