Ingredients

  • 0.38 oz berry blue jello mix
  • 0.38 oz strawberry jello mix
  • 0.50 packets Knox unflavored gelatin
  • 1.75 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 0.38 cup boiling water (divided)
  • 0.12 cup cold water
  • 0.12 cup Red (White & Berry Vodka, divided)
  • Whipped cream and patriotic sprinkles for topping

Instructions

  1. Place 3-oz plastic cups onto a cookie sheet.
  2. Bring 0.25 cups of water to a boil and whisk in the berry blue Jello mix, stirring until it's completely dissolved.
  3. Once the Jello has dissolved, add 0.125 cup of vodka, and stir to combine.
  4. Add 0.125 cup of cold water and stir again. Allow the mixture to cool for about 20 minutes
  5. Pour the blue gelatin mixture into your shot cups, filling them 1/3 of the way full. Place them in the refrigerator to set for about 2 hours.
  6. To make the white layer, boil 0.5 cups of water and then add the sweetened condensed milk.
  7. Whisk in 0.25 envelopes of unflavored gelatin. Allow to cool for 25-30 minutes.
  8. Add the white gelatin mixture to the cups, filling another 1/3 of the way. Place in the refrigerator for another 2 hours until set.
  9. For the next layer, whisk the strawberry Jello mix into 0.5 cups of boiling water and stir until dissolved.
  10. Stir in 0.125 cup of vodka.
  11. Add 0.125 cup of cold water and stir again.
  12. Allow to cool for 25-30 minutes, then add the red Jello layer, filling close to the top of the cups. Place in the refrigerator for 2 hours to set.
  13. Just before serving, top the Jello shots with whipped cream and patriotic sprinkles. Enjoy!
