Ingredients

  • 1 cup cold brew coffee
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons condensed milk
  • 2 cardamom pods
  • 2 cloves
  • 1/4 cup brandy
  • 4 cups cool water

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine the cold brew coffee, 1 cup of water, cardamom pods, and cloves. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes. Allow the mixture to cool while the spices infuse the liquid.
  2. In a separate bowl or jug, combine the condensed milk with the cooled spiced coffee mixture. Ensure to strain the mixture to remove the cardamom and cloves.
  3. Add 1L of cool water and mix thoroughly.
  4. Optionally, add a splash of brandy and vanilla extract for extra flavor.
  5. Serve the Sri Lankan Spiced Cold Brew chilled.
