Sri Lankan Spiced Cold Brew
A refreshing Sri Lankan-inspired cold coffee with a blend of traditional spices and a touch of brandy.
Ingredients
- 1 cup cold brew coffee
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons condensed milk
- 2 cardamom pods
- 2 cloves
- 1/4 cup brandy
- 4 cups cool water
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine the cold brew coffee, 1 cup of water, cardamom pods, and cloves. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes. Allow the mixture to cool while the spices infuse the liquid.
- In a separate bowl or jug, combine the condensed milk with the cooled spiced coffee mixture. Ensure to strain the mixture to remove the cardamom and cloves.
- Add 1L of cool water and mix thoroughly.
- Optionally, add a splash of brandy and vanilla extract for extra flavor.
- Serve the Sri Lankan Spiced Cold Brew chilled.
