Sri Lankan Spiced Coffee Chiller
A refreshing and aromatic Sri Lankan coffee beverage infused with warm spices, creamy condensed milk, and a splash of brandy, served chilled for a delightful treat.
Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup coffee
- 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup condensed milk
- 4 cardamom pods
- 2 cloves
- 1 splash brandy
- 4 cups cool water
Instructions
- In a pot, combine the coffee, 1 cup of water, cardamom pods, and cloves. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes. Allow the mixture to cool, letting the spices infuse into the liquid.
- In a separate bowl or jug, place the condensed milk and pour in the cooled, filtered coffee mixture.
- Add 1L of cool water and mix well to combine.
- Finish by adding a splash of brandy and vanilla extract, and stir thoroughly.
