Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons condensed milk
  • 1/3 cup strong brewed coffee
  • 2 cardamom pods
  • 2 cloves
  • 1/4 cup brandy
  • 4 cups cool water
  • ice

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine 1 cup of water, coffee, cardamom pods, and cloves. Bring to a boil and then simmer for 10 minutes. Allow the mixture to cool and let the flavors infuse.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the condensed milk with the cooled, filtered coffee. Stir well.
  3. Add 1L of cool water and mix thoroughly.
  4. Add a splash of brandy and vanilla extract, if desired.
  5. Serve the mixture chilled over ice.
