Ingredients

  • 2 oz Tanqueray Flor de Sevilla Distilled Gin
  • 2 oz freshly squeezed blood orange juice
  • 1/2 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1/2 oz maple syrup
  • 3-4 drops blood orange bitters
  • 1 kaffir lime leaf
  • 10 ice cubes, divided

Instructions

  1. Squeeze the juices of the blood orange and lime, then strain through a filter to obtain pulp-free juice.
  2. Muddle the kaffir lime leaf in a shaker to extract its oils for flavor and aroma.
  3. Add the gin, bitters, blood orange juice, lime juice, maple syrup, and 4-5 ice cubes to the shaker.
  4. Cover the shaker with the lid and shake vigorously for 30 seconds.
  5. Place fresh ice cubes in a cocktail or ice-filled wine glass, then pour the cocktail into the glass.
