Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup plain thick yogurt
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin (crushed coarsely)
  • 3-4 large mint leaves
  • 2-3 sprigs of cilantro leaves
  • Pinch of salt and sugar based on your preference
  • 1/2-inch fresh ginger, peeled and roughly chopped
  • 1/2 green chili, slit in half and seeds removed
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the yogurt, water, roasted cumin, mint leaves, cilantro leaves, ginger, salt, and sugar.
  2. Blend the ingredients until smooth. Strain the mixture for a smoother texture, if desired.
  3. Pour the mixture into a glass and add the green chili to infuse the drink. If you prefer it spicy, blend the green chili with the other ingredients.
  4. Serve cold with ice cubes.
