Ingredients

  • 2 oz tequila
  • 1/4 cup fresh pink grapefruit juice
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 3 oz club soda
  • 1/2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp water
  • 1 fresno chili, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp Kosher salt

Instructions

  1. To prepare the Chili-Infused Simple Syrup, combine sugar and water in a small saucepan, bring to a boil, then simmer until sugar dissolves. Add chili slices and let steep until cooled, then refrigerate.
  2. When ready to make the cocktail, mix tequila, grapefruit juice, lime juice, and chili-infused simple syrup in a pitcher.
  3. Combine sugar and salt on a plate, then rub the rim of each glass with a lime wedge and dip into the sugar-salt mix.
  4. Fill each glass with ice and pour in the cocktail mixture until 3/4 full.
  5. Top off each glass with club soda and garnish with lime and grapefruit slices.
