Ingredients
- 3/4 cup Cranberry Juice
- 1/4 cup Apple Juice
- 2 tablespoons Orange Juice
- 1 teaspoon Honey
- Orange slices
- 1/2 Cinnamon Stick
- 1 Star Anise
- 2-3 Cloves
- 1 Bay Leaf
- 1 teaspoon Dried Ginger
- 1/8 teaspoon Orange Zest
- A small pinch of Nutmeg
- 2-3 Cardamom Pods
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine the honey and orange juice. Simmer until the mixture thickens to a syrupy consistency.
- Add the mulling spices and all the fruit juices to the saucepan. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for five minutes.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the mixture rest for 2 hours to allow the spices to infuse.
- Strain the spice-infused mixture, reserving some cinnamon stick, orange slices, and star anise for garnishing. Ladle the drink into glasses and add the garnish before serving.
