Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup Cranberry Juice
  • 1/4 cup Apple Juice
  • 2 tablespoons Orange Juice
  • 1 teaspoon Honey
  • Orange slices
  • 1/2 Cinnamon Stick
  • 1 Star Anise
  • 2-3 Cloves
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon Orange Zest
  • A small pinch of Nutmeg
  • 2-3 Cardamom Pods

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine the honey and orange juice. Simmer until the mixture thickens to a syrupy consistency.
  2. Add the mulling spices and all the fruit juices to the saucepan. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for five minutes.
  3. Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the mixture rest for 2 hours to allow the spices to infuse.
  4. Strain the spice-infused mixture, reserving some cinnamon stick, orange slices, and star anise for garnishing. Ladle the drink into glasses and add the garnish before serving.
