Ingredients
- 3/4 cup Cranberry Juice
- 1/4 cup Apple Juice
- 2 tbsp Orange Juice
- 1/2 tsp Honey
- Orange slices
- 1/2 Cinnamon Stick
- 1 Star Anise
- 1-2 Cloves
- 1 Bay Leaf
- 1/2 tbsp Dried Ginger
- 1/8 tsp Orange Zest
- A pinch of Nutmeg
- 2-3 Cardamom Pods
Instructions
- In a pot, combine honey and orange juice. Simmer until the mixture thickens into a syrupy consistency.
- Add the mulling spices and all the juices to the pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for five minutes.
- Remove from heat and allow the mixture to rest for 2 hours to let the spices infuse.
- Strain the spice-infused mix, reserving some cinnamon stick, orange slices, and star anise for garnishing.
- Ladle the mulled wine into glasses and garnish with the reserved cinnamon stick, orange slices, and star anise before serving.
