Slow Burn
Slow Burn is a warming and refreshing cocktail with fresh ginger, cinnamon, rye whiskey, aperitivo, lime juice, and egg white.
Ingredients
- 3 slices muddled ginger
- 1/2 ounce ginger-infused simple syrup
- 1 ounce rye whiskey
- 1 ounce aperitivo (e.g., Bordiga or Aperol)
- 1/2 ounce lime juice
- 1/2 ounce egg white
Instructions
- Muddle 3 slices of ginger.
- Add the muddled ginger, ginger simple syrup, rye whiskey, aperitivo, lime juice, and egg white to a shaker with ice.
- Shake the ingredients well for 30 seconds.
- Strain the mixture into a Martini glass.
- Top off with a dusting of powdered cinnamon.
