Ingredients

  • 1.50 oz tequila (blanco or reposado)
  • 1.50 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 oz freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon agave nectar
  • kosher salt
  • lime wheel (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. On a plate, pour a small pile of kosher salt. Use a lime wedge to moisten the rim of a margarita glass, then dip the rim into the salt. Set the glass aside.
  2. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add tequila, lime juice, orange juice, and agave nectar.
  3. Shake the cocktail vigorously for at least 30 seconds.
  4. Strain and pour the contents of the shaker into the prepared margarita glass.
