Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup tequila
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons orange liqueur
  • 1/2 tablespoon agave syrup or other sweetener
  • 1 1/4 cups frozen strawberries (about 4 oz.)
  • 1/2 cup ice
  • 3 tablespoons orange juice
  • Coarse kosher salt, for rimming glass
  • Lime wedge, for rimming glass and garnishing

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the tequila, lime juice, orange liqueur, agave syrup, strawberries, ice, and orange juice.
  2. Blend on high speed until fully combined and smooth.
  3. Rim a margarita glass with a lime wedge and dip it in coarse salt.
  4. Pour the frozen margarita into the prepared glass.
