Silken Citrus Martini
An elevated twist on the classic dirty martini, the Silken Citrus Martini features a velvety texture and a refreshing citrus infusion.
Ingredients
- 2 oz gin or vodka
- 1 tsp olive oil
- Peels from 1 orange
- Peels from 1/2 lemon
- 1/2 oz Mata Bianco vermouth
- 1/2 oz Dolin Dry vermouth
- 2 dashes orange bitters
- Garnish: lemon peel and olive
Instructions
- Combine gin (or vodka), olive oil, and citrus peels in a container and stir well.
- Let the mixture infuse overnight, allowing the olive oil to solidify in the fridge or freezer.
- Strain the liquor to remove the fat cap and citrus peels, then store in a new container.
- In a shaker tin, combine the citrus-and-olive oil washed spirit, vermouths, and orange bitters.
- Add ice, stir well, and strain into a coupe glass.
- Garnish with a lemon peel and olive.
