A modern variation of the Manhattan, the Revolver cocktail features bourbon, coffee liqueur, and orange bitters, topped with a flamed orange peel for a touch of drama.
Ingredients
- 2 oz Bourbon
- 1/2 oz Coffee liqueur
- 2 dashes Orange bitters
- 1 Piece orange peel
Instructions
- Combine bourbon, coffee liqueur, and orange bitters in a mixing glass.
- Add ice and stir until well chilled.
- Strain the mixture into a pre-chilled cocktail glass.
- To flame the orange peel, hold it colored side down over a lit match and twist, allowing the oils to ignite as they spray toward the drink surface.
- Remove and discard the orange peel.
