Ingredients

  • Ice
  • 1 1/2 oz red bitter liqueur (such as Campari, Cappelletti, or Contratto Bitter)
  • 3-4 dashes orange bitters
  • 4 oz fresh orange juice
  • 1 oz fresh grapefruit juice
  • Pinch of flaky sea salt
  • Orange or grapefruit wedge or wheel, for serving

Instructions

  1. Fill a Collins or highball glass with ice, and add the red bitter liqueur and the orange bitters.
  2. In a shaker, combine the orange and grapefruit juices with the pinch of salt. Shake vigorously for 15 to 20 seconds.
  3. Strain the cocktail into the prepared glass.
  4. Garnish with an orange or grapefruit wedge or wheel.
