Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 oz tequila
  • 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 oz agave nectar (or honey)
  • extra ice, as needed
  • 1/3 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1/4 oz tequila
  • 1/8 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1/8 oz agave nectar (or honey)
  • extra ice, as needed
  • 1/4 cup coconut milk (I recommend full-fat)
  • 1/4 oz silver tequila
  • 1/8 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1/8 oz agave nectar (or honey)
  • extra ice, as needed
  • Optional: a fresh lime wedge and margarita salt or sugar, to rim the glass

Instructions

  1. Combine each set of ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Add extra ice as needed to achieve a thick slushy consistency.
  2. If desired, rim the serving glasses with salt or sugar by wetting the edges with a lime wedge and dipping them in salt or sugar.
  3. Spoon the first flavor into the glasses to fill 1/3 of the glass, followed by the second flavor, and then the final flavor, creating layered colors.
  4. Serve immediately and enjoy!
