Ingredients
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon cane sugar
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 1 lemon wedge
- 1/4 cup fresh raspberries
- 2 oz. freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 3-4 fresh mint leaves
- 1 oz. honey simple syrup (recipe above)
- 3-4 ice cubes
- 0.50 oz. triple sec
- 1.50 oz. Finlandia vodka
- 1 slice of lemon for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the honey simple syrup by dissolving honey in water in a saucepan and allowing it to cool.
- Combine the cane sugar and lemon zest in a small plate. Use the lemon wedge to wet the rim of a coupe glass and dip it in the sugar mixture, then place the glass in the freezer.
- In a large glass, muddle raspberries, lemon juice, mint leaves, and honey simple syrup until the raspberries are pureed.
- Fill a shaker with ice, pour in the triple sec and vodka, then strain the raspberry mixture into the shaker.
- Shake the mixture for about 40 seconds.
- Remove the coupe glass from the freezer and pour the cocktail into the glass. Garnish with a slice of lemon and serve.
