Ingredients

  • 5 oz rosé brut champagne, very cold
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1/4 cup fresh raspberries
  • 2 tbsp fresh basil, plus more for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine sugar and water to prepare raspberry-basil simple syrup.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil, then remove from heat and add 2 tbsp basil and 1/4 cup raspberries.
  3. Allow the syrup to cool.
  4. In a large pitcher, combine cold champagne and cooled syrup.
