Ingredients

  • 5 oz. rosé brut champagne, very cold
  • 2 1/2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 1/2 tbsp water
  • 1/4 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1/8 cup fresh basil, plus more for garnish

Instructions

  1. Create the raspberry-basil simple syrup by combining sugar and water in a small saucepan and bringing it to a boil.
  2. Remove the syrup from heat and add 1/8 cup basil and 1/4 cup raspberries to infuse the flavors.
  3. Allow the syrup to cool.
  4. In a large pitcher, combine the cold champagne and the cooled raspberry-basil syrup.
  5. Serve the cocktail with fresh raspberries and basil leaves.
