Ingredients

  • 1.50 oz vodka
  • 1/2 tablespoon fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/2 tablespoon fresh squeezed lime juice
  • 1-2 tablespoons pomegranate juice (or cherry or cranberry juice for a paler pink color)
  • 1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sparkling pink lemonade (or regular or lite lemonade, flavored sparkling water, Sprite, or lemon-lime soda)
  • Ice
  • Lemon wedge (garnish) or fresh strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, lime wheel, mint, or thyme for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a glass, combine chilled vodka, fresh lime and lemon juice, pomegranate (or other red juice), and vanilla. Stir to blend the flavors.
  2. Pour in sparkling lemonade, soda, or desired mixer, and stir gently.
  3. Add ice to the glass.
  4. Garnish with a lemon wedge or your choice of fresh berries, lime wheel, mint, or thyme.
