Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup frozen unsweetened strawberries, thawed
  • 1 berry-flavored green tea bag
  • 1/2 cup boiling water
  • 3/4 cup coconut milk, chilled
  • 1 tablespoon simple syrup
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 2 tablespoons freeze-dried strawberries, slightly crushed

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, gently cook the thawed strawberries until they begin to break apart, about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
  2. Use an immersion blender to puree the cooked strawberries, then chill the puree in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
  3. Steep the green tea bag in boiling water for 5 minutes, then discard the tea bag. Stir in the strawberry puree, chilled coconut milk, and simple syrup.
  4. Fill a glass with ice cubes and pour the strawberry-coconut mixture over the ice.
  5. Garnish the drink with the crushed freeze-dried strawberries.
