Ingredients
- 2 to 3 sprigs fresh rosemary
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 oz rosemary simple syrup
- 2 oz whiskey
- 3/4 oz lemon juice
- 3/4 oz pineapple juice
- 6 to 8 fresh mint leaves
- Rosemary sprig for garnish
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine fresh rosemary, sugar, and water to create the rosemary simple syrup. Boil the mixture until the sugar is completely dissolved, then let it steep for 30 minutes. Remove the rosemary sprigs and store the simple syrup in the refrigerator.
- In a shaker, muddle the rosemary simple syrup and mint leaves.
- Add ice to the shaker, then pour in the whiskey, lemon juice, and pineapple juice. Shake for 10 to 15 seconds.
- Strain the mixture into a rocks glass filled with crushed ice.
