Ingredients

  • 2 oz gin or vodka
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • Peels from 1 orange
  • Peels from 1/2 lemon
  • 1/2 oz Mata Bianco vermouth
  • 1/2 oz Dolin Dry vermouth
  • 2 dashes orange bitters
  • Garnish: lemon peel and olive

Instructions

  1. Combine the gin or vodka, olive oil, orange peels, lemon peels, Mata Bianco vermouth, Dolin Dry vermouth, and orange bitters in a quart container.
  2. Stir or shake well to incorporate the olive oil into the spirit.
  3. Allow the mixture to infuse overnight.
  4. Place the container in the fridge or freezer and let the olive oil solidify.
  5. Strain the infused liquor to remove the fat cap and citrus peels, and store the liquid in a new container.
  6. In a shaker tin, combine the infused spirit with ice.
  7. Stir well and strain the mixture into a coupe glass.
  8. Garnish with a lemon peel and olive.
