Ingredients
- 6 egg yolks
- 24 oz evaporated milk
- 15 oz coconut cream
- 40.80 oz coconut milk
- 28 oz condensed milk
- 1/2 tsp clove
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup Nutella spread
- 2-3 cups white rum
Instructions
- In a double boiler, whisk together egg yolks and 24 oz of evaporated milk over steam until thick, about 5-6 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the evaporated milk-egg mixture with coconut cream, coconut milk, and condensed milk. Add Nutella, spices, and vanilla extract.
- Blend the mixture in a blender in batches. Strain through a fine colander if desired.
- Stir in the white rum until well mixed.
- Transfer the coquito mixture into glass bottles for storage.
