Ingredients

  • 6 egg yolks
  • 24 oz evaporated milk
  • 15 oz coconut cream
  • 40.80 oz coconut milk
  • 28 oz condensed milk
  • 1/2 tsp clove
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup Nutella spread
  • 2-3 cups white rum

Instructions

  1. In a double boiler, whisk together egg yolks and 24 oz of evaporated milk over steam until thick, about 5-6 minutes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the evaporated milk-egg mixture with coconut cream, coconut milk, and condensed milk. Add Nutella, spices, and vanilla extract.
  3. Blend the mixture in a blender in batches. Strain through a fine colander if desired.
  4. Stir in the white rum until well mixed.
  5. Transfer the coquito mixture into glass bottles for storage.
