Ingredients
- 6 egg yolks
- 24 oz evaporated milk (2 cans, 12 oz each)
- 15 oz coconut cream
- 40.80 oz coconut milk (3 cans, 13.6 oz each)
- 28 oz condensed milk (2 cans, 14 oz each)
- 1/2 tsp clove
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup Nutella spread
- 2-3 cups white rum
Instructions
- In a double boiler, whisk together egg yolks and 24 oz evaporated milk over steam until thickened, about 5-6 minutes.
- Transfer the evaporated milk-egg mixture to a large mixing bowl. Add coconut cream, coconut milk, and condensed milk. Mix in Nutella, spices, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the mixture into a blender in batches. Optionally, strain the mixture through a fine colander. Stir in the rum and mix well.
- Store the coquito mixture in glass bottles.
