Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 2 tbsp fresh mint leaves
  • 2 tbsp simple syrup
  • 3 tbsp white or light rum
  • ice
  • club soda

Instructions

  1. In a shaker or pitcher, combine the fresh mint leaves and lime juice.
  2. Use a muddler to gently crush the mint in the lime juice for about a minute.
  3. Add the simple syrup and rum to the shaker or pitcher.
  4. Fill the shaker or pitcher about 2/3 of the way with ice and stir well to mix and chill.
  5. Fill a glass halfway with ice.
  6. Pour the mojito mixture into the glass until it's 2/3 full.
  7. Top the glass with club soda.
  8. Enjoy!
