Ingredients
- 3 deseeded lychees
- 1 lemon wedge, deseeded and thinly sliced
- 3-4 basil leaves, roughly torn
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons simple ginger syrup
- 2 pinches rock salt or normal salt
- 3 tablespoons lychee puree
- 1/4 cup or more cold water
- Sparkling water or club soda
- 3-4 ice cubes
- Chiffonade basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a glass, muddle the lychees, lemon, basil, lemon juice, ginger syrup, and salt for about 30 seconds until the ingredients are slightly crushed.
- Add ice cubes to the glass.
- Pour in the lychee puree and add some water.
- Just before serving, fill the glass with sparkling water or club soda.
- Garnish with chiffonade basil if desired.
- Stir well before drinking.
