Ingredients

  • 2 oz Basil Hayden's bourbon
  • 1/2 oz green Chartreuse
  • 1/2 oz freshly squeezed grapefruit juice
  • 1/2 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/2 oz agave syrup (one part agave nectar, one part water)
  • 1/4 oz egg white (about half of an egg white)
  • Garnish: mint sprig
  • Garnish: lemon wheel

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a shaker and vigorously dry-shake without ice.
  2. Fill the shaker with ice and shake again until well-chilled.
  3. Strain the mixture into a double rocks glass over fresh ice.
