Luck of the Irish Whiskey Coffee

Ingredients

  • 1.50-2 ounces Irish whiskey
  • 4 ounces fresh-brewed coffee
  • 2-3 brown sugar cubes (or 1-2 tsp brown sugar)
  • 2 tablespoons whipping cream
  • Chocolate Shavings (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon whipped cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the coffee mug with almost boiling water, then empty the water.
  2. Pour the coffee into the warm mug, add the brown sugar, and stir until dissolved.
  3. Add the whiskey to the coffee and stir to combine.
  4. Whip the cream until thick but still pourable.
  5. Gently pour the whipped cream over the back of a spoon onto the coffee, allowing it to float on top. Do not stir.
  6. Garnish with additional whipped cream and chocolate shavings if desired. Sip and savor!
