Luck of the Irish Coffee

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp heavy cream
- 1 1/2 oz Irish whiskey
- 4 oz freshly brewed coffee
- 1 tsp demerara sugar
- Freshly grated nutmeg for garnish
Instructions
- Lightly whip the heavy cream in a bowl for about a minute.
- Preheat a serving glass with hot water, then discard the water.
- Add the Irish whiskey, coffee, and sugar to the glass, stirring to combine.
- Optionally, top up with hot water to adjust the strength of the coffee.
- Using a warm tablespoon, gently pour the lightly whipped cream over the back of the spoon to let it float on top of the coffee.
- Garnish with a light dusting of grated nutmeg.
