Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz Irish Whiskey
- 4 oz hot, filtered black coffee
- 2 tsp light brown sugar
- 1 oz heavy cream
- Optional garnish: nutmeg, chocolate shavings, or 2-3 coffee beans
Instructions
- Prepare a heatproof cup and warm it with hot water.
- Aerate the heavy cream by stirring rapidly with a whisk or fork, or whip it to a whipped cream consistency.
- Discard the hot water from the cup and add brown sugar to the cup.
- Pour in the hot coffee and stir to dissolve the sugar.
- Add the Irish whiskey and stir to combine.
- Gently pour the aerated heavy cream over the back of a spoon into the cup or dollop the whipped cream on top.
- Optionally garnish with nutmeg, chocolate shavings, or coffee beans.
